🛏️ It is a padded bed, not a thin sheet. The quilting gives your dog something soft to settle on instead of bare cloth or leather, and there is a non-slip backing plus a seat retainer so the cover itself does not shift around underneath them.

Will it fit my car?
It measures 137 × 147 cm — the standard size for saloons, hatchbacks, estates and most SUVs. If your back seat is narrower, the adjustable lanyard pulls it in for a snug fit. You'll need rear headrests to hook the straps over. If it doesn't work in your car, return it free within 30 days.
Is it really waterproof, or just water-resistant?
The panel is quilted 600D Oxford with a waterproof coating, so water, mud, drool and accidents sit on the surface until you wipe them off rather than soaking through to your seat.
To be straight with you: the zips and the seat-belt openings are not sealed, so don't submerge it or leave a puddle sitting on a zip overnight. For everything a dog actually brings into a car, nothing reaches the upholstery.
Will my dog slide around on it?
The quilted surface gives your dog something padded and textured to settle on rather than bare leather or cloth, and there's a non-slip backing plus a seat retainer so the cover itself doesn't shift.
It's a soft hammock, not a rigid platform. If you have a very large dog and you specifically want a completely flat, solid floor across the footwell, a hard-bottom extender is a different product — we'd rather tell you that than sell you the wrong thing.
